Hiring Off Duty Officers

Residents and businesses may hire off duty officers. The current rate for off duty officers is $50/hour. There is a three (3) hour minimum. If you are interested in having one of our officers contact you about an event, PLEASE make your request at least two weeks before the event. You can call the desk officer at 914 967-1234 to make your request.

Officers are available for many types of jobs including, but not limited to:

• Security and Parking of vehicles for parties
• Open road work (Traffic Control)
• House Watch
• Driving Jobs
• Security

Please give the desk officer your contact info & job description to have an officer contact you about your job. We only use your information for the purpose of contacting you about your job.

Once you submit this request, the details of your job are posted for our members to view. An officer will call you back to confirm your request and go over the event details. Please allow 2-3 days for your request to be answered.

Please note, submission of this request is not a guarantee that it will be filled. The Rye Police Association provides this contact page as a service to the community. The jobs are filled by officers from our department that deal with you directly.
